Server was great but then rushed us at the end with the check even though it wasn't an hour (they let you know you have two hours), cleared our fries we were still eating..I get what people say though about being rushed and rude. The second hostess that greeted us was pretty fake nice also. Overall we enjoyed it and would come back because it's a great venue and the food was pretty good. Was just so windy so lots of things flying around and falling off their walls.

When we first got there, stood there for a while, not knowing why, just waiting to get seated, but got a great spot. The Views are beautiful, and the overall design and atmosphere is great. The silverware was a bit worn looking, and one of our glasses was cracked from top to bottom. Our waitress was good, always keeping an eye on our table, and the bus staff were very nice and worked hard. However, the food and drinks took forever to come. The wait staff and the views were the better part. The food wasn’t the best. The wild mushrooms had a weird smokey flavor, the ribeye steak and potatoes were okay they were good, but not worth 90 bucks. The seafood platter was also kind of small compared to price and was bland. Everything had an either smoky or spice flavor. The butter cake was alright. Just not impressed with the kitchen. Better to just go and enjoy some appetizers and coffee, or a drink and enjoy views. Once the music comes on the vibe changes. Still a beautiful place. Could just use some polishing up, and maybe upping the menu and flavors a little.

Had a reservation & arrived on time. The host told us to go get a drink at the bar & they’d come get us when our table was ready. Got to the bar & there were no seats. Ordered two drinks & the host came over before we got our drinks; she told us to come back to the host stand once we got our drinks. Was charged for the drinks at the bar instead of the tab being sent to our table. Had to walk through the lobby back to the host stand with drinks in hand (awkward as we were the only people I saw have to do this) to then be seated at our table. The restaurant boasts its amazing views yet they have a room off to the side with a view of a bar & nothing else. Very underwhelming & overpromising. Our server was fantastic, she was the best part of our whole dinner. The table next to us had a dog that was hardly on a leash & hopped up onto the bench seats right next to us multiple times throughout the night & at one point licked a plate at our table. No one ever talked to them about their dog. On top of all of that the dog smelled awful. Definitely not a service dog (no vest & not mannered). Terrible experience & will encourage others to not come here to be completely honest. Seemed as though the instagram content that came out of each evening from influencers is the restaurant’s main priority. Unfortunate.

We got a reservation at 7PM, and we didnt get seated until 7.50. Finally got seated, picked our food and drinks for about 10 minutes and nobody came to our table AT ALL. We just left and went to another restaurant because that ruined the night already lol. Literally took forever to seat us, and I even asked the two girls that seat people don’t even have any idea where or when we’re gonna be seated. Our conversation literally went like “when are we gonna be seated?” they say, “uhhh whats your name? ok i’ll check and come back to you” and never came back to us until 40 mins later 😂

Great place to take a date if you can get a reservation. Service was amazing, food was delicious. Every thing we tried we loved. Highly recommend this restaurant. Lots of beautiful people walking around and you are like to see a Hollywood star if you are lucky enough to get inside this restaurant.

During our inaugural visit, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine, particularly the exquisite salmon dish. However, the overly loud music occasionally disrupted our experience. Furthermore, a timing issue led to a 40-minute wait for our food, with appetizers arriving simultaneously with our entrees. Despite paying almost $350 for the meal, the valet service was disappointing end to the night. We were the first in line but experienced a delayed car retrieval being the last to retrieve our vehicle and minimal assistance.

Doorman was cool. Host in the front had no personality. Did not feel like she wanted to be there. Our server was great. The raw bar was good, guacamole was good. Mushroom tacos were not good. Mushroom risotto was horrible. Fatoush salad was good - you almost messed it up by saucing it with dressing. Branzino was dry and had no flavor. I guess you are paying for the ambience here because the food was whatever.

The restaurant’s biggest problem is the loud club next door, which completely ruins the vibe of such a beautiful restaurant. All you can hear is the loud thumping electronic music while you’re eating. It was hard to hear your own table conversations….

This place is a vibe that's for sure, and the interiors are beautiful, but I find that that the price point is high for food that is basic and just alright. But it's LA, so, you're basically paying for ambiance which is totally fine if that's what you're going for :)

Hands down, phenomenal! 10 out of 10, all thanks to the general manager, Smith Dok. He made our night one to remember. His flawless attention to detail and unwavering demand for customer satisfaction truly left us speechless. While celebrating our wedding anniversary my personal goal was to offer my wife an exceptional night of great food, vibes and entertainment. Smith graciously surpassed all expectations. Once I shared my ambitions with Mr. Dok, he took the reins and showed us both a beyond stellar experience. Every detail, every request. With him nothing was too much. We felt both at home and VIP at the same time. Our celebration was not only a success, but a night to remember. My only regret is it’s gonna be so very hard to top this experience with another establishment. I suppose we are team “Casa Madera” from here on out. Cheers to Mr. Smith Dok. I consider you a great friend now for all you have done for us and we will definitely will continue to offer our gratitude each time we have the please to experience your exemplary leadership and care. Long story short, never again. So this place has an amazing atmosphere. TOO BAD we couldn't experience it. If you walk in past the bar and make a right, you'll be seated in the area reflective of the pictures that likely made you choose this place in the first place. But instead, we walked in and made a left and were seated in an area with a low roof, no decor, basically an extension of the bar and a wobbly table. Been to many steakhouses, and never has the ambiance and decor been such a stark difference depending on where you're sitting. For my wife's birthday, this was no good. Btw, not even a small ice cream with a candle for her birthday, nothing. The area I was sitting in was not worth the $400 I paid for the night. I won't say it's racist like the other review, but something is going on. The more you fit the aesthetic of a upscale night club flyer, the higher chance you'll have of sitting in the better spot, based on what I saw. But $400 being sat next to a pillar blocking the view outside just ain't it. Door man (tall black guy) is lit though shout out to him. He's a very cool guy.

The Night was ruined when staff treated us with typical racist and elitist protocol. They bumped our reservation to an earlier time(45mins earlier) and sat us in an excluded area and rushed us. The restaurant was only at barely half capacity. I let the manager know and he said this is not the first time this has been brought up and has been mentioned is in staff meetings. Casa Madera trains there staff to be racist! That’s absolutely disgusting.

Beautiful interior design, delicious food, excellent waiters. Just hosts were rude and had attitude. We arrived 10 min early but they keep us until our reservation’s time and half of restaurant was empty but they said we need to seat and waiting.
