Farmer Wants A Wife fan favourite Bert Harris broke hearts around Australia on Tuesday night when he walked out of the show.
After postponing his 24 hour date with Brooke because of farm work, Bert, 30, took a moment to reflect on his priorities.
He then made the tough call to leave the reality series without picking any of his ladies.
‘Coming into this experience, I was looking for someone to share my life with. I think all the girls are wonderful, but I don’t have what it takes to be in a relationship right now,’ he said.
‘I just don’t have the emotional time to be the person that people are deserving of. That’s the reality of it,’ he added.

‘Goodbyes are pretty hard for me. It always hurts but I know that deep down that it was the right choice for me to make. I was fully open to the idea of falling in love.’
‘The farm never stops taking. There’s always more work to be done. Before I start a relationship with somebody, I want to be happy with the farm, happy with my life, and I guess happy with all of it,’ he continued.
Bert’s ladies Brooke, Catilin and Karli were left shocked by the decision.

‘I didn’t expect that tonight. Obviously, you want to be the girl at the end, or someone that he’s sure of and falls madly in love with, but I care deeply about him, so I feel okay about it,’ Brooke said.
Meanwhile Karli admitted ‘I want what’s best for him and this is what has to happen at this point in time.’
Insiders claim Bert felt increasingly manipulated by production tactics, particularly from two male producers who were fresh off the set of FBoy Island and were pushing for heightened drama.
He then made the tough call to leave the show without picking Brooke, Catilin or Karli

Bert is now said to be secretly seeing Lauren McNeil, a contestant who chose to exit the competition due to intensifying pressures.
Lauren, who left the show two weeks prior, was reportedly a significant factor in Bert’s decision to leave, with sources suggesting he was coerced into letting her go – a decision he regretted.
‘Coming into this experience, I was looking for someone to share my life with. I think all the girls are wonderful, but I don’t have what it takes to be in a relationship right now,’ he said
The couple are expected to reveal their relationship publicly after the show’s season concludes in late May.
It comes as Farmer Tom, a 22-year-old cattle and crop famer from Tabilk, Central Victoria, faced a tense decision between Sarah C and Krissy on Sunday evening.
In the end, it was Sarah C, 23, who stole the youngster’s heart.
‘I just don’t have the emotional time to be the person that people are deserving of. That’s the reality of it,’ he added
‘It has been an honour having you around the farm. I’ve absolutely loved every moment of it,’ Tom declared to his lady love.
‘Sarah, you are the person that I want a relationship with, and I am falling in love with you,’ he continued.
