Inamin ni Canadian actor Kevin Durand na pinakikinggan niya ang mga kanta ng Filipino rapper na si Francis Magalona noong kanyang kabataan.
Sinabi ito ng “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” star sa interview ng DJs and internet personalities na sina Gino Quillamor at Chico Garcia.
“My best friend growing up moved from Mindanao… We grew up together and we would listen to Francis M,” kuwento ni Durand.
Pagkatapos nito’y nag-sample siya ng kantang alam niya kay Francis M.
“Mga kababayan ko… ako ay Pilipino,” awit niya
“Whenever I speak to people from the Philippines or people who live here who are from the Philippines, I just feel so at home with you guys,” bahagi pa niya. (IS)
