Action! Share your passion on local theatre centre board

Are you passionate about the arts? Do you have a knack for leadership and a desire to make a difference in your community? 

The Sault Ste. Marie Community Theatre Centre is accepting applications for people to serve on its board of directors and as advisors.

"Join us in shaping the future of community theatre in Sault Ste. Marie," the board said in a news release.

The SCTC board said it is looking for individuals with diverse skills, experiences, and attributes to join them in contributing to the organization's governance, strategic direction, and sustainability.

The board says it recently completed a comprehensive strategic planning process and, after reviewing its composition, is seeking to further enhance its capabilities.

"Applicants of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including those with a passion for the arts and community development, strengths in leadership and strategic planning, and experience in financial management and fundraising," the board said.

The SCTC requests that applications be submitted by May 31. Those interested are encouraged to complete the short “Call to Action” Form.

A selection committee will evaluate applications and conduct interviews to shortlist candidates.

The board said it will finalize the selection at its annual general meeting in June.
