Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1957 western Night Passage directed by James Neilson and starring James Stewart, Audie Murphy, Dan Duryea, Dianne Foster, Elaine Stewart and Brandon deWilde. The album features the original score from the Universal Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Dimitri Tiomkin (High Noon, The Alamo, It’s A Wonderful LifeGiant, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Guns of Navarone). Also included are two original songs (Follow the River & You Can’t Get Far Without a Railroad) written by the composer with lyricist Ned Washington. The CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also find out more about the release and check out audio samples. Night Passage is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
