Lakeland Senior High School Reviews
Rating 3.81 out of 5 456 reviews
Lakeland senior high school, is a high school that holds a tradition. This tradition consist of being academically sound and athletically gifted. Known as one of the best high school sport programs in the state of Florida, Lakeland thrives! To be a true dreadnaught is to be “NULLISECUNDUS” second to none.
Lakeland suffers a huge problem with fighting and discrimination against students who are minorities. Staff and administration let me down multiple times by allowing students to harrass me, and ignoring my pleas for help when another student was threatening my life. The bathrooms are filled with students doing hard drugs and smoking weed and vaping. Only a select few teachers were ever kind to me and accomodating, despite my lack of a 504 plan.
The reporting system for sexual harassment/assault is an absolute joke. You could bring up hard evidence to the office and they will take their dear sweet time reporting it to the county and the police, if they even do it. I have seen the process first hand when a fellow classmate as sexually assaulted by an older student and nothing was done, not even a suspension. Do better, Polk County.
