Randolph has been the best investment in my child’s future! The curriculum is unparalleled- from the academics to the fine arts to the physical fitness and social growth. The combination of technology with traditional learning and innovative focus areas keeps the kids engaged and teaches independence and skills needed for college and beyond. This was most evident during the Pandemic. When other schools were struggling and children’s academics were suffering, the staff and administration had virtual learning ready the first day … including music, arts, science labs, and PE. Instead of declining during this time, my child excelled from that point on. The staff is truly committed to ensuring each child grows academically and socially while in a safe and caring environment.
We've had one child graduate from Randolph and another who is currently there. Our experience has been incredible. Having come from another independent school when we moved to Huntsville, we had very high expectations. Randolph met and exceeded our expectations in academics, athletics, and the arts. Our student at college is thriving because of his experience and he continues to remain in touch with his teachers from Randolph. The teachers are amazing and show a genuine interest and care for the students.
For my family, the Randolph experience has been transformational. We didn't think we would stay in Huntsville as long as we have, but the school has kept us anchored and more deeply connected to the community than we could have ever imagined. The education that my child receives is remarkable. I am particularly happy with the strength of the reading, writing, math and science curriculum, although my son's favorite subjects are history, French, and the many opportunities he has in art and music. My son would probably not be a competitive athlete in a public school, but he has consistently participated in sports at Randolph and has had a positive experience, especially with running and soccer. It's a real stretch for us to send our son to Randolph, but he has such great support from his teachers and friends, and we feel like the school works hard to partner with us and parents in general. When I think about his confidence in school and how well prepared he is, I'm really grateful.
