Premier League summer transfers 2024: All the Done Deals

The 2024 Premier League summer transfer window is now just weeks away from officially opening.

After a disappointing January transfer window in which most teams were extremely reserved amid concerns over Financial Fair Play, the summer market is set to see record amounts of money thrown around again.

The likes of Jarrad Branthwaite, Michael Olise, Bruno Guimaraes, Pedro Neto and Ivan Toney have all been linked with big-money departures from their current clubs, while several huge names could be set to join the Premier League before the 2024-25 season begins.

In addition, Nigeria superstar Victor Osimhen will leave Napoli and could move to the Premier League, with Chelsea and Arsenal interested. The likes of Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres and Bologna attacker Joshua Zirkzee should also be followed closely this summer amid Premier League interest.

Although the window is yet to officially open, summer business has already begun for several clubs in the Premier League, with many already sealing their first arrivals.

David Raya's loan move from Brentford to Arsenal has been made permanent, while it is the same story with Lewis Hall at Newcastle (from Chelsea), Luis Sinisterra at Bournemouth (from Leeds), Mike Tresor at Burnley (from Genk) and Tommy Doyle at Wolves (from Man City).

Brentford have agreed a deal to sign Igor Thiago for a whopping €33m from Club Brugge as a possible Ivan Toney replacement, talented youngster Ibrahim Osman is heading to Brighton for €19.5m, and Tottenham have beaten Barcelona to Lucas Bergvall’s signature. The Sweden teenager will join Ange Postecoglou’s side for €10m.

In terms of departures, Thiago Silva will leave Chelsea on a free transfer after four brilliant years to join Fluminense. Raphael Varane has announced his departure from Man Utd on a free transfer. Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara have been released by Liverpool. Mohamed Elneny and Cedric Soares have been released from Arsenal.

Fulham lost Tosin Adarabioyo and Bournemouth lost Lloyd Kelly after their contracts expired.

Remo Freuler will depart Nottingham Forest for Bologna on a permanent deal after a €4.5m fee was agreed. Felipe announced his retirement from football at the end of the 2023-24 season, while a host of other Forest players were released on a free transfer.

Aston Villa have permanently sold Morgan Sanson to Nice for €4m after he spent the 2023-24 season on loan with the Ligue 1 club and Southampton's promotion triggered their obligation to make Taylor Harwood-Bellis' loan move from Man City permanent.

Crystal Palace have announced the release of James Tomkins and Jairo Riedewald on free transfers. Brighton have done the same for Adam Lallana, while Brentford have released three players.
