- One of the first VMP pressing I got when I joined. Knew nothing about this guy, and now it is one of my favorite albums from them. Pressing sounds great.
- This album is simply stunning! The music is so lively and fun; I’ve never heard Booker playing with so much vigor and joy. The pressing itself is dead flat, silent, and incredibly dynamic. A home run release from VMP!
- A perfect pressing for me. Quiet, dynamic, good clarity, nice soundstage. And like many i never heard of James Booker until VMP reissued his two albums. And i love both of them. There is something about how this guy hit the keyboard, just sounds so right. Very happy about this copy
- This is the single album I've been most excited to receive from VMP. If you've never listened to James Booker do yourself a favor! They did a great job with this one!
- This album is awesome as stated in previous reviews. Only other James Booker I had were a couple rehearsal recordings with the Jerry Garcia band from January 1976 and one or two live shows he did with them - 1/9 & 10/ 1976. Will be looking to add more Booker records to my collection. Though it looks like most of his 70’s output were all made in Europe and fetch some high prices. Even more reason I’m stoked to have the Lost Paramouny Recordings.
