Conditions acceptance criteria not clear, books lost

They did not accept some perfectly preserved books that they claimed did not respect condition guidelines (some spots of humidity on one side): I'm sure they will sell them away as well anyway. Moreover, they keep on loosing some books that were inside of the same box...
Lastly, it is not acceptable to only pay 15 cents for books that were worth x10.

Refund received

I eventually received a refund from Momox. The email address does work and I received a rapid response to the email message I sent. Issue now resolved

Bad customer department

The problem with Momox is that their customer department can not or want not read the mails.
Mrs M.C. gives always an answer but not on my questions.
So the problem is not solved.

trying to to sell book...

To buy a second hand book, it is really fine but when you want to sell your own books (like I decided to do today) which look like new you get offered around 0,15cts (book bought 17euro and in a very good shape) so sorry to say that but it is really little respect for customers and people who made those books. In many case, your book is not accepted after tiping the isbn number. So better sale it on a marke, you get more money for your books and do not lose your time getting registered.

Good customer service

After contacting Momox, the lost item has turned up and the full amount will be credited to my account. That is why I am changing my opinion, it is the fairest thing on my part. I emphasize that until this shipment I had not had any problems with this company.

I sent 3 separate sales transactions…

I sent 3 separate sales transactions numbering in all 8 parcels. I understood from momox that the (low) prices offered were confirmed. I might add that 97% of the books were in excellent condition, like new, but l had to make the sacrifice. I have just noticed that momox has transferred a lower sum to my bank account ( comprising, it appears, the 3 sales transactions) without any explanation. I am shocked given that the prices were already incredibly low. I had accepted my losses with philosophy. I didn’t imagine that this site would scam me. . I may have misunderstood what these payments represent as there is no explanation, and maybe there is more to come. Before writing this review l tried to message you via the email address provided, but it doesn’t work. This lack of communication is not a good thing but maybe there’s a language problem.l’ve added a star and l will wait and see what happens.

I ordered a few book and games which…

I ordered a few books and games which arrived yesterday. I filmed myself opening the package incase there were issues. I stopped filming after it seemed like everything was correct. After doing so I opened one of the games cases so I could play the game and discovered that it had the incorrect game inside so I started filming myself opening the other games. thankfully all the other cases seemed to have the correct game inside but I have not checked if they work yet. I have already tried to contact momox through their website and email and have not received any reply. The messages I have sent include
a link to the video of me unboxing the order and then the video of me when I discovered the incorrect game inside the case. I suspect that either the seller sold the item with the wrong game inside or that someone else has previously purchased the game swapped the "disc" (the game) inside the case and then returned it with the incorrect game. Either way Momox should have the responcibility to the check that the games have the correct "disc"(game) inside them before they send it.

(UPDATE)
I have been told that I will receive a refund for the item but I still have not received it and as such I will keep my review as 1/5 until I finally receive it after which I will once again update this review.
(UPDATE)
Totally forgot about this review but yes I did get my refund so increased my review from 1 star to 3.

I am a longtime satisfied customer,but my last order had a mistake,I ordered the same book twice,tried to cancel one hour later,they didn't accomodate,very disappointed,they where my favorite online bookshop,now I have to look for another, pitty

Clowns

Awful. Order a book. They stipulate a 10 day delivery date. book doesn't arrive. Send and enquiry. No response. Send another enquiry. They respond saying they don't know what's happeneding and i might get the book in 30 days. Hopelessly incompetent and stupid!p

The app idea is good but the process…

The idea itself it’s very good. But there are many things to improve: the customer service. Please understand that people are sending you clothes/DVD/Books and seeing them valued 30 cents (as in my cases with some books), it’s really bad. Plus clothes: I have made an order and out of 6 shirts, 0 were valued good. I can imagine you have very strict rules, but maybe it’s too much. So many people are disappointed with your service. If you are looking only for almost perfect clothes/books at least give them a proper value not few cents. Furthermore the customer service won’t help you: if they valued your item “not good”, there won’t be any help from the customer service. Also: I made a package with around 30 books, all together, but apparently 1 of those got lost. How is it possible? They were all together, in 1 box. And I read that this happens often. Maybe you should do something with this? I won’t be buying/selling anymore on your app, but I will give it another chance when the situation will get better(if). All the best.

They replied asking me to fill a form in order to complain to DHL for the missing book. But how is this DHL fault? I have put all the books together, in the same box. So unless the box arrived damaged and opened I don’t see how this is DHL fault.

Lowest price, fast delivery and no hassle

After reading several negative reviews I was a bit reluctant to order from Momox however I'm so glad I did. My book arrived within a couple of days, the cost including postage was lots cheaper than anywhere else online including amazon. I didn't get a link to review by email so this won't show as a verified purchase, if I do I will amend. I would definutely order again from Momox.

Have placed about 10 orders with this company and so far they haven't disappointed. It may take a bit longer for deliveries to the UK but the books are exactly as described and prices are hard to beat.

Excellent

I was a bit concerned when I read some of the feedback but decided I would send some CDs because other sites were offering such low prices. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!
The whole process was easy and I have received precisely the amount I expected. Excellent communication from Momox though Hermes tracking is patchy.
I am delighted and would certainly use Momox again. Thank you

I didn't have any problem selling my goods to this company.

I came across the negative reviews of Momox after sending off my items, and as a result, I was very nervous about the service that I'd receive. Fortunately, I didn't have any problem selling my goods to this company.

I was given a very good price for my items; delivery was straight forward; and I received payment for all of my items in good time. A faultless service.

Non-deliveries

I have been a customer of Momox for many years, through Amazon, with much satisfaction. I live in southern Spain. Recently, my purchases have not been delivered. Momox uses DHL, who have lied about deliveries they fail to complete, and I have had to ask Amazon for refunds. Momox MUST stop using DHL, Correos, or any other carrier who fail to deliver, as they will lose even more customers.

Quite possibly the worst company I have…

Quite possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with.
The customer service is terrible, my cd arrived damaged and they said they would refund me immediately. The refund wasn't actioned so I contacted them and they keep sending messages to say they don't understand. Absolutely appalling!
