8 weeks 2 days- miserable today
It’s our family Sunday and I have no energy for anything. My husband took our 3 year old son out and I’m home with our baby girl.
I know it won’t be like this forever but we already don’t get a lot of time together as a family and I just feel emotional, sad, nauseated and want the first trimester to be over already.
We just moved and our house is a disaster and I have zero desire to get off this couch. He goes back to work tomorrow and I’m back to solo parenting 2 kids while I feel miserable and I just want to scream. No village. No help. I feel so alone.
Vent sesh over.
Sending hugs! I get the no village part. Both our families are far away. Being pregnant with small children is not fun. It occasionally even makes me doubt if I am capable of handling more children. What I have learned through parenting so far is that everything is a phase and nothing lasts forever. There are easy and enjoyable times and times when we ask ourselves how we shall survive until bedtime. Hang in there! Is it possible for you to get a bit of alone time when your husband comes home from work?
