I was definitely not looking forward to seeing this miniseries again because it made a huge impression on me when I was thirteen. I had never seen or experienced anything related to the Holocaust before, other than images on the news, the yearly Remembrance Day, visiting the hiding place where Anne Frank was hidden and reading her diary. Wallenberg: A Hero’s Story is a powerful portrait by Chamberlain of the idealistic Swedish diplomat who outsmarted Eichmann (chillingly played by Colley) and saved over 100,000 Hungarians during WWII. He was captured by the Russians after the war to disappear forever. It was worth all my time to revisit this. Watch out for Ingmar Bergman-actress Bibi Andersson.
