questions I should ask the dealer when purchasing the bike, what accessories are a must, what accessories I should get in aftermarket,

#Query ❓

Basically the title. It's my first time buying a bike no one in my family have knowledge about these things(including me). The bike we will be will be buying is either RE bullet 350 or classic 350. And when I was researching I come to stumble upon a term called PDI. And also that the mirror that come with bike are not that good and you should buy a mirror(I forgot what's it's called) that don't vibrates much and also please tell what accessories are a must like the sun guards/engine guard. What other things I should have And know of.

PDI: pre delivery inspection... you have to check bike allotted to you before full payment... Check manufacturing date... can be derived from vin number.. general bike quality of finish, any dents, scratches, rust etc.. they generally don't give test ride of allotted bike but if they give well and good... also make sure odo is below 50km... if more ask questions...it can be cash payment or loan disbursement... Mirrors are fine... if you want you can opt for bar end mirrors(aesthetic) or touring mirrors( if you plan to do long rides)

You can check the overall fit and finish of the bike allotted to you, like paint, rusting, any minor dents etc. If you find any of these, you can reject that bike and ask the dealership to give you another one. Also stock mirrors that come with the bike are good for city usage, if you plan on long rides, you can opt for touring mirrors offered by RE, they’re good Quality but highly overpriced. Also must have accessories are Sump Guard to protect the engine from all the dirt and grime that comes to the engine from the front wheel and a Leg Guard. Although it is not mandatory to get it from the showroom as you get cheaper alternatives in the aftermarket, but RE genuine ones are of Good Quality. Also don’t forget to ask for that 1 free helmet which comes free with all RE Bikes. Rest all boils down to your preferences, you get what you pay for. Good Luck with your purchase. 👍
