Palestine High School Reviews
Rating 3.88 out of 5 88 reviews
As a parent whose senior started high school at the height of the pandemic, I will say that Palestine High School and the district really tried to make the craziness and uncertainty easier on the students. When they returned, safety and health were a huge concern and factor and still remains that way to this day. Since then, the district has implemented many new programs and the fine arts, sports and career and technology areas have blossomed and been recognized with numerous awards and accolades. If there is one change that I would recommend for them to get better at would be communication, and this is through all areas: digital, phone, or the old physical paper route. Many individuals, even though we are so heavy influenced on it lean on technology, there are still ways that many parents still do not get access to information or choose not to sometime. Communication is always key in any situation, academics or not.
My school is really great. I came here at the beginning of my Sophomore year from a smaller school. Palestine as a lot of CTE courses available more extra-curricular activities and groups than my previous school. The change in schools has been a benefit for me personally and academically.
The best part high school is completing robotics competition, and the worst part about high school is not even tutor to help student. The only change that need to be made is the school hired more tutors.
