1) A week ago today I stayed at the #VolcanoHouse on the Big Island of Hawaii. I was in the volcano park visitor center when Kilauea began to erupt. I ran with the rangers to a view point and saw red splashes of lava shooting over the rim of the crater.

3/ As I negotiated my way through the narrow gap in the window my ankle got caught and twisted in a weird way. I think I heard a pop. I can't put any weight on it now.

2/ I had to climb through an open window to get in. It was about 8 ft up so I had to scale a tree to reach it. I roughed up my hands rather badly on the bark. The window was barely open so it was a bit challenging to get through but I had really been looking forward to the party.

1/ I may be late to the party on this one but...I'm standing in the corner of the event hall all alone. There are empty glasses scattered about & many of the table cloths are stained with remnants of wine and I think ketchup. Also there's no music playing
