This waterfall has two seperate locations, left from the carpark takes you to Tam Nag Waterfall. This is a larger waterfall, very accessible with an easy walk and a nice spot for a dip if you don't mind the colder water. The rocks are slippery so be careful if you try to climb the waterfall, it will likely not end well.

The second waterfall is more remote and more of a fun trek through the jungle with multiple crossing of the river. This isn't a difficult walk, just longer than the first. The waterfall at the end isn't very spectacular but it's worth it for the walk.

    Overall well worth the visit.

An hours boat ride to the Islands. A number of smaller islands, with good snorkelling saw Turtles, variety of fish and some coral and stoppped on lovely white sand beaches. Travelled with Wow Adaman Tours, it was all inclusive with food provided on the day and Thai Style packed lunch, drinks provided all day, they certainly look after you and you never go hungry. Amazing coconut Ice Cream. Would recommend the day trip even the teenagers enjoyed it.

No people there whatsoever. The place being quiet made it even more eerie and weird. Recommend if you want to see something quirky and different

Great place to visit with kids. Free entrance. Toilets next to the cave entrance (no toilet paper or soap, though). You can buy refreshments from the small stands close to the caves. Wat Suwan Khuha (cave temple) is located very close, so you can check both sights at the same go. On our way back to Khao Lak we stopped at Dairy Hut for lunch.

Flowers are great there, there are some water spots in where you can swim and enjoy a natural foot massage by the tiny fishes 😍, don’t miss this spot if you are a big fan of the green areas. Take photos as much as you can.

Great Waterfall with large basin to swim. Real fresh water, as it is up in the mountains. Access is via a steep small street. The river has also access area for small children.

The negative reviews of Koh Panyi are grossly overstated and are very likely from privileged individuals who have never lived a tough day in their lives. I visited in April of 2024 and am happy to report that the place does not smell like trash, and other than two young girls who approached me asking me if I wanted to buy souvenirs to support the local education, there was no aggressive pushing of overpriced souvenirs. Furthermore, my dining experience here far exceeded my expectations. I ate at Ko Panyi Village Restaurant and for $5 USD, I had the largest, most delicious portion of pad Thai with upwards of 10 pieces of juicy shrimp. You cannot find a better deal anywhere. The noodles were flavorful and well-cooked, as was the shrimp in the dish. The peanuts and chili is off to the side so you can control the amount you want in your dish. There is a sink inside along with soap and flushing bathrooms. There is no reason to complain about cleanliness here. I would recommend checking out this spot for roughly an hour: 30 minutes for lunch, and 30 minutes to walk to the floating soccer field and back to your boat. Lastly, I would recommend taking the negative reviews posted here with a massive grain of salt.

If you are looking for things to do around Phuket, put this cave hike on your list. It doesn't take long to hike it, but it provides really impressive views. The journey includes a short canoe ride, and a quick transfer to some bamboo rafts. Then you get into the water, about knee high, for the rest of the hike. I'm guessing it was about 1.5 kilometers and took about an hour round trip. You must be fairly mobile for this hike, and I am not sure I would take kids under 8 on this adventure.

The National Park is beautiful but as with all of them they practice the dual charging of foreigners. Just after the turning to the park there is a fantastic restaurant with green walls called Krua Pasoa ครัวป้าสาว . The lady who has been running it for years buys seafood from local fisherman so menu varies day by day. We have been coming for years and it is fantastic. Today we had an amazing soft shelled crab(s) fried in a delicious batter, sea snails, tom yum seafood and a squid stir fried in curry paste with sator beans. Fantastic cooking and great flavours. Cannot recommend highly enough. The Park I wouldn’t really bother with.

A lovely park with well kept entrance, a cafeteria that serves tasty Thai food. There are walks for all kind of walkers. The waterfall is beautiful and rich even in the dry season. It is possible to swim. The river is full of fish. The trees are magnificent and all the vegetation is lush. We have spent an happy few hours. Highly recommend. I think it’s also possible to spend the night in a cottage or you can bring the tent and camp.
