Reports are coming in that legendary Vancouver punk guitarist Dave Gregg passed away on Sunday night, March 31st Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock following a heart attack and possible aneurysm.
Gregg is known best for his time with Vancouver’s D.O.A., playing alongside Joey Shithead Keithley, Randy Rampage and Chuck Biscuits. He appeared on the band’s first five albums, including their debut full length Something Better Change and the seminal follow up Hardcore ’81, before leaving the band in 1988.
He went on to play with numerous other bands including the Real McKenzies from 2005 until 2011.
