Studying at the University of Rennes via the "Students in Exile" Procedure

The University of Rennes wishes to facilitate access to its courses for students in exile who want to become graduates of the institution. The aim is to introduce the "Adapted Admission Application (DAA) for Students in Exile", a procedure designed to take into account the specific situation of applicants whose study and/or career paths have sometimes been fragmented by exile, and to make the most of their professional, voluntary and personal experience, which could facilitate access to studies in higher education. Anyone with stateless or political refugee status, validated by the Office Français de Protection des Réfugiés et Apatrides (O.F.P.R.A.), or who has been granted subsidiary or temporary protection and wishes to apply for the first time for a course at the university, may apply under the "DAA Students in Exile" procedure.

Please note that students enrolled at the University of Rennes under this procedure, as well as first-time students of Ukrainian nationality, will be fully exempt from enrollment fees from the start of the 2023-2024 academic year, for the duration of the course in which they are enrolled.
