Marie Harf Returns to Fox News From Seth Moulton’s Failed 2020 Campaign to Defend Biden on Ukraine: ‘No Evidence’ of Corruption

After spending the last few months off Fox News, Marie Harf formally returned to the network as a contributor on Monday.

Harf, a former strategic communications adviser to John Kerry, used to be a regular on Fox, making frequent appearances as a liberal pundit for shows like Outnumbered and America’s Newsroom. She also formerly co-hosted one of Fox’s radio shows as the counterpart of Townhall editor and conservative commentator Guy Benson.

Harf left the network in May to be a foreign policy adviser for Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA) while he was running for president. Moulton ended his campaign last month in the middle of the Democratic primaries, and Bill Hemmer touched on that when he welcomed Harf back on TV today.

“That didn’t go so well,” Hemmer said, “so I hope your return to Fox goes better.”

Harf’s welcome-back segment gravitated around the subject of whether Democrats are right to believe that Texas could politically turn blue in the next few years. Hemmer also noted that Democrats are pursuing impeachment against President Donald Trump before pivoting to ask about his 2020 opponent: “When does Joe Biden answer the questions that are surrounding him and what happened?”

Harf answered that “there is no evidence against Joe Biden yet” and reminded Hemmer that “the most important part of this story is about President Trump.” Hemmer continued to ask “When does Joe Biden answer this?” and Harf responded that Republicans keep flinging unsubstantiated allegations of wrongdoing at Biden in order to “take away attention from the fact that the president is facing the most challenging political and legal issue that he has had to face.”
