Interesting ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ exhibition the day we visited - enough to keep you entertained for an hour or so. Don’t miss the TV reenactment of the First moon landing gone wrong! I went for a massage and facial as a gift to myself. I walked into the spa and was hugged by the relaxing smell of lavender with a hint of lemongrass, The front desk staff smiled and welcomed me. The massage therapist was super knowledgeable and made sure my massage targeted what I needed rather than just a generic pattern. The esthetician gave me the best facial and helped me with some tips on what I could do for concerns I have with my skin. I was able to relax without a lot of talking, but was also able to gather information that is useful for my wellness in the future and some pleasantries.
The staff at the desk was so nice about scheduling my next treatment and they were not that fake smiley nice, but they were relaxed and joked and were just all around warm. There is also plenty of choices for the kids. - Leslie R4 contributionsI needed a bit of quiet time and found this hidden little used book store in a quiet complex on Spanish River and North Dixie Hwy. The lady was pleasant and unobtrusive, the chairs were comfy, plenty of great books, and I spent a good hour and a half reading a few chapters of various novels and just unwinding. No pressure to buy. No pressure at all. And I found a few books I hadn't read in years so that was a pleasant surprise. The inventory is always changing and there seems to be just the perfect gift to buy whenever I need something. If your purchase is a gift they will wrap it beautifully. The shop is filled with quilt and project samples and a knowledgeable staff. Tropical prints and batik fabrics are plentiful, as are gifts, notions, books, and patterns. Don’t quilt? Ad showed Jewelry pouch, buffing cloth and box. In addition product description stated this is haw it would be wrapped when sent. E-mails, visit to store and phone calls (Three, because the first two were answered by third party service contractor) produce no resolution. E- mail response wanted photos of items not received-DUH?. they will not give you back half of what you paid even if you never wore it, if they sell it to you in poor condition, they won't buy it back, but they originally purchased it that way.!!!
