Magnus on Water is a cocktail bar and restaurant that features Peruvian-inspired comfort food from Chef Rafael Zimmerman. Bar Director Brian Catapang helms the celebrated cocktail program at Magnus, with rotating, seasonal drinks to compliment the big flavors of Raf's food. Sustainability is paramount to us, and we work with farmers & fisherman who are respectful of Mother Earth, while working diligently to minimize waste.

Our space is polished, but still intimate and cozy, and in the summer Magnus on Water has a large outdoor patio, complete with gardens and fire pits. We also have a private dining room for large parties and are available for full or partial event rentals.

We were there for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful patio, fire places and the Saco River. Everything about our experience was perfect- service, food, atmosphere. Cocktails are terrific!

I can’t say enough about how good the food is. We enjoyed everything we ordered, it was unique as well as delicious. Sitting at the bar we enjoyed watching the mixologists work their magic. The Facelift was outstanding and the espresso martini was perfect. It was a fun night out for my husband and I, we loved the vibe and the staff was engaging and fun. Don’t wait, check it out!!

It was all delicious. Sweet potato doughnut needs a little work. It was just OK whereas everything else was delicious.

A memorable dining experience in Biddeford, Maine. The atmosphere, food and waitstaff made for a pleasurable meal. Scott helped us choose two inspirational cocktails to start. My wife and I shared two small plates: Raddichio salad + yuca fries and one large plate of braised short rib. For dessert, we each enjoyed a picarone, a sweet potato donut & pineapple-Montenegro sauce. Magnus on the Water is definitely on our "we'll be back" list.

A delight for the senses! The cocktail selection is expansive and offers unusual yet familiar flavor combinations. The small plate offerings perfectly express the regional cuisine. Leave room for the picarones! You will not regret your visit. Our only regret is that we don’t live closer to frequent the restaurant!
