Badger by Owl-light was a three-part BBC Scotland Television Drama, a contemporary thriller set mainly in a commune somewhere in Scotland. It was broadcast on Thursday nights on network BBC-1 from 1–15 April 1982 (9.25–10.15pm).

The drama was based on a radio play of the same name that Eddie Boyd had written some years earlier.

It was shot entirely on film. Filming dates: 11 May–26 Jul 1981.

It had Ceefax subtitles available for the deaf.

2 8 Apr 1982 Death stalks the unwary as Talion continues his search for the fanatical religious cult dedicated to the bombing of churches. His meeting with the 'Badger Man' starts a chain of events which ends fatally. Filming dates:
3 15 Apr 1982 Life in the commune has become very disturbed since Talion's arrival and with surprising information he comes closer to uncovering the identities of the members of the religious cult. Taking part in one of the cult's more deadly rituals, Talion is aided by a most unexpected ally.
