Senior: The Ridgefield Park School District is one of the most friendliest, accepting, and welcoming districts out there. Its outstanding staff, its efforts exerted into extracurriculars, classes, activities, and the people themselves are all wonderful to be around. Senior: Going to Hackensack High School I feel readily prepared for the next stage in life. As someone who has taken multiple honors and AP classes I can say that they defintley help you think at a higher level and introduce you to college courses. After taking these courses I feel like I will have a better understanding of multiple topics when I enter college. Not only do the teachers perpare you, but they are also there if you need help with anything. All teachers empathsize on students who may need help to come 10th period to ask any questions or just go over a few practice problems. All staff wants to see students succeed and it is very clear. I have also found a group of friends that truly cares about me and make me feel like they will always have my back. For anyone who takes their education to heart and wants to make lasting friendships Hackensack High School and the overall district is the place just for that.... Read 13 reviews

Junior: This school is very good when it comes to academics. I used to be the worst at school but my teachers helped me turn my grades around. We don't get as much homework as most high schools, but most students are dramatic and will complain. My only criticism when it comes to academics is that the administration needs to work on finding better resources when it comes to science. When it comes to extracurriculars, we have the basic sports like football and track, but I wish we had more. Our clubs are also pretty basic. We have a drama club, chess club, environmental, garden club, multicultural club, mock trial, etc. I think we have the bare minimum but it would be nice to have more. A major issue with our school is that our building is outdated. We have no AC, our auditorium has not been updates since the 1950's, and our school is very small which means we only get the bare minimum when it comes to classes. However, a referendum was just passed and we will be fixing all of these issues.... Read 8 reviews
