Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review kevin w Uneven, disjointed, poorly plotted, poorly written, sloppily executed, whatever happens onscreen is merely an exercise in putting the butts in seats and that's it. Gable schmoozes through the film without outright snickering at it (and there might be acting cred for that small thing) and the ending is foregone at the opening credits. Only Jo Van Fleet's performance registers at all, and she does manage to bring the goods. Is the rest of the film even a Western?
