I attended high school with Lee. He was a very likeable person. When the classes were required to sit in alphabetical order, my maiden name being "Bennett", I sat behind him in one particular English class. Lee was also an avid talker, not always paying attention to the teacher...so, noticing his lack of attention, the English teacher called upon Lee to answer her question regarding the title of a certain scholastic literature magazine. Caught off-guard, he had no clue how to respond. I whispered to him, "Better Homes and Gardens". That was his reply to the teacher. (I do hope he eventually forgave me for setting him up.) He was a good person and certainly will be missed. Rest in peace, dear friend. Teresa Bennett Shirley
