Floods hit the provinces of Corrientes and Entre Rios as the Uruguay River overflowed after days of heavy rain in southern Brazil.

Authorities in the Entre Rios town of Concordia released a report on Monday (May 13) that said that a total of 167 households, comprising 568 people, had been evacuated from their homes, mostly to other private homes as well as to emergency centres.
