Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is one of the coolest toys stores I’ve been too. It’s huge and has a large selection. Most of the toys are new, I would have liked more vintage figures but that’s ok.

There is a crazy pub located in the back. It is decorated with horror decor and the tables are arcade games. We played Donkey Kong while drinking a good selection of craft beers. A very cool experience.

Unfortunately, their mask requirements follow the politics & not the science. I'm fully vaccinated.

When I arrived for my annual visit, I was told to leave. The man behind the counter said, "This is not a free country." Wow.

I won't be back. I really liked that store. Very disappointed with how I was treated.

Having been forced from their gigantic spot up the road, Gods & Monsters is still my go-to spot for all things pop culture. Walked out today with a limited edition numbered box set of Casablanca, and a book from an Orlando author about surviving a pandemic in Orlando... Is it fiction? instruction? little of both. Todd and Anna, the owners, do their absolute best to keep the coolest stuff in stock (but if you get there after me, it might be all sold out). I picked up another Godzilla today, and my wife opted for Wonder Woman and Sandman books. My daughter opted for some Doctor Who trinkets (she has such good taste), and a Yoda plush to hold when we watch Star Wars.

During this pandemic, call and make an appointment, and wear your mask. its required. Oh! they also have some Jason Voorhie's style hockey masks -maybe you can fit a filter inside that and really freak out the folks at the grocery store. I also suggested they get the alien face hugger as a mask - won't that be awesome!

go.. Go now. well.. make an appointment and GO.

and like the Transformers (aisle 2, 3rd shelf). there's more than meets the eye to Gods & Monsters. they have a bar! (21 and up only) and an escape room!

This is an amazing shop with comics, toys and collectibles. Nerd heaven!

If the shop wasn't cool enough... The bar located in the back is even cooler. Fallout themed bar that is a must see... Excellent beer and drink selection and the staff is super fun and friendly.

This place is a must visit!

Love all the different comic and movie memorabilia for sale also the rarely seen items not for sale. There is a small bar and an escape room, they were closed but we were still able to enter the bar and it is one of a kind. We will be back during open hours next visit in March. They are located in a dying complex but busy area.

Good sized store which is packed to the rafters full of memorabilia, comics and figures. Spent an hour just browsing before buying anything. The store alone is 5 stars and the staff were so friendly and inviting.

If that wasn't enough to satisfy my geekish needs, they told us about the bar in the back... it was closed that day but allowed us to go in and look around for as long as we wished. We asked many questions and took a few pics, the layout and design is incredible, very apocalyptic/ fallout. Although we were unable to attend, they did tell us about a Harry Potter themed bar night the night after so they also put cool events on...

Cannot recommend enough, just sad I was on holiday and can't visit this place regularly.

Visited yesterday with my family, and it's a lovely little shop stocked to the brim with toys, comics and games. The owner was super helpful and made the whole experience a pleasure.

All sorts of items from pop culture comics tv and movies. A really large and clean store too. The hidden bar in the back looked fun, we’ll come back again and get some drinks.

Dropped by this store the other wk when in Orlando. Great selection of comic/geek stuff and the owner was really nice dude - we chatted for ages about random stuff and he came across as a really sound bloke and if I lived locally I imagine I would be spending a lot of time and money in his shop! đź‘Ť

First time going to the new location it’s a little smaller but still pretty cool. Took my hubby cause he is a comic fan and he really liked the shop. Really undecided on what to buy though. It has a pretty cool bar in the back that I also liked a lot.
