Gary Sinise Puts His Enormous SoCal Spread on the Market for $7.2M

Actor Gary Sinise is preparing to part ways with his Southern California spread in Santa Rosa Valley, CA.

The Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning actor picked up the 28-acre property in 2014 for $5,250,000. Now, he’s listed the home for $7,250,000.

And while Sinise stands to profit nicely from a sale, the “CSI:NY” actor made many improvements to the place over the years.

Built in 1999, the house sits in a gated development with views of the Channel Islands and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. The nearly 11,000-square-foot residence features eight bedrooms and 8.5 baths.

An older layout was “reimagined” in 2017, and the home now boasts enhanced and expanded gathering spaces that easily flow from the inside to the outdoors.

Highlights of the lavish living quarters include a double, glass-door entry; 24-foot ceilings; a formal living room with a skylight; and a formal dining room.

Eye-catching details include custom woodwork, hardwood floors, and “elegant fixtures,” the listing notes. But the best feature might be the outstanding views from each room.

The 69-year-old stage and screen star has racked up many accolades, such as a Golden Globe, a Tony, and four Screen Actors Guild awards. His credits include “Forrest Gump,” “The Green Mile,” and “Of Mice and Men.” He’s also known for his role portraying Detective Mac Taylor on the long-running CBS series “CSI:NY.”
