    Retail therapy at its best
We stayed at the Peninsula BKK and you can easily take the ferry or simply walk to IcaonSiam. We had a blast shopping here. We even got a mid-sized Delsey luggage at 70% off. I also got real pearl earrings, among other things we shopped for. The food court was crowded but alright. The massage area was just inside the food court. Tuk tuks are right outside the mall so it is fairly easy in and easy out.

    A patterned waterfall
This is a new mall on the river so it has easy access. There are several floors with a variety of medium to high-end goods, including a floor with a huge variety of foods & restaurants. The whole mall was tastefully decorated with traditional Thai themes, lighting & water features. There was a 2-3 storey high waterfall which fell in computer-generated patterns. Amazing. The Napalai Terrace provides a 180 deg. view of the Bangkok skyline which is great for pics.

    Happy day in Iconsiam
It’s a huge mall. The ground floor is with a mixture of boat village and a typical Thai market that give very good shopping and sightseeing experiences. They also have top brands shops and the 5/f and 6/f are for kids. The Napalai terrace on 7/F have a very nice view. It’s definitely good for spending a day there especially for a family. If time is enough, can wait to see the fountain show at the entrance outside.

    Worth a vist
We spent our university in there such a lovely place and sunset view is very nice. So we have a great time there. So many restaurant and branded shops are there. And also outside has a light show at the main entrance of the mall every night. It was really nice.

    Very beautiful and aesthetics
Very beautiful and aesthetic mall have ever seen. The ground floor has Sook Siam which is setup like an open market with little stalls of food and local stuff. Some restaurants are also there. But the highlight of this mall is the aesthetics and beautiful roof. Even the washrooms have beautiful theme. The fountain show outside the mall with city skyline is also perfect way to end the day.

    Something for everyone
My main goal in visiting Iconsiam was to marvel at the architecture of the building. I didn't think I could afford anything, but was wrong. While there are many high-end shops, there are also more affordable ones scattered around the building. If you are not in the mood to shop, you can wander around Sook Siam at the basement and check out all the street food. You can also go to the viewing decks and marvel at the view of the river and the surrounding buildings. Check out the balcony of the Starbucks on the seventh floor or the Apple Store. If you're planning to meet someone at this mall, then give yourself plenty of time, as it may take you a few minutes to get your bearings!

    Experiential
The reason for visiting ICONSIAM is that it goes beyond being just a huge shopping mall. The street food & flea marketplace on the ground floor gives you an excellent peek into local lifestyles. The piers outside the mall bring the river to life!

    Upscale modern tourists spot
Icon Siam is a massive modern upscale multi story complex that seems to offer almost everything that can guarantee tourists and locals a good day out. We visited here around lunchtime and the place was buzzing from the ground floor where all the food markets were to the top floor where the exhibition centre shared panoramic view of the river and skyline with cinema co-locating in the same complex. We easily spent 4 hours here and there were still places we didn’t explore.

    Lovely meal
Getting to Iconsiam on the boat was a great start to our evening. It's busy in the food court area but take your time to wander round and see what's on offer. We all enjoyed our meals and they were very reasonably priced. Going back on the boat in the dark was a great end to the evening.

One of the newest shopping malls in Bangkok. Super big and plenty to see. Wear comfortable shoes!
Go to IconSiam via ferry, so that you can have a good view of the iconic architecture from the Chao Phraya river!
First, we tooK BTS to Saphan Taksin on the Silom Line (dark green line), which was the station just before the BTS crossed the river. After alighting, we headed to Exit 2 (initially, my thought was to “follow the crowd”, but unfortunately, everyone was split in where they were heading lol) which led to the Sathorn Pier.
Thankfully, there were staff carrying signs for IconSiam herding us to the right queue. However, there were just those few fingers over there and signs were put up for which pier was used for which ferry. That being said, the staff’s assistance did help us to quickly reach the pier.
The wait for the ferry was about 10 minutes.
Take the left side of the ferry to have a good view of IconSiam as you are approaching it!

If you are going to visit a mall in Bangkong make sure to stop by this place. This is definitely a high-end mall, they even have car dealerships inside the mall to include Porsche. Hang around the front and watch the water fountain show. It's no Burj Khalifa fountain show by any means but it's good enough to pass time. Look across the river and you might see Leslie Chow doing his thing at the Lebua Hotel and Sky Bar. Just don't F*ck on him cause he will definitely F*ck on you.

Sorry Dubai, but this place outranks you by far because it is not cold and all steel and marble like Dubai. This is really fun. The bottom floor is full of street food stands and souvenirs and there are very chique restaurants too. Then you have the top floors with every brand shop you can think of. The river boats stop at the Iconsiam too. We ate street food there often and once went to a more fancy restaurant. All great and the shopping was excellent too. They have a free shuttle bus that drops you off at the Thonburi Sky train station too.

A visit to Bangkok must make a trip to Icon Siam, a contemporary shopping mall for all ages. The location is a bit far from most hotels but getting a grab is easy to travel to and back. The basement is the main attraction, a master show piece with eateries and performances. Other floors are shops while restaurants are on upper floors. Found that they tried to put too many features on each floor, that gave the feeling of uneasiness to move around. Beautiful view of the river and fountains. Can spend a day with the family.

I have been to this mall quite a few times, but i must admit that I prefer other malls than this one. This is too big and confusing, - and very high-end! During the last year we have tried several times to visit the museum on the 8th floor, and there is written on the information signs that the museum is on the 8th floor but so far it has been closed every single time we have been here, and the staff in the information desk seem that they have never heard about the museum. Also the staff on the information desk seem to understand quite limited English.

If one does not live close to the river, it is not worth to go here if one wants to go shopping. I find other shopping malls with just as good shopping and much more convenient access.

Take the free shuttle from Saphan Taksin metro station, and be amazed by the water/ music display at 8 pm and 9 30 pm
It's like fireworks, free, original and breath taking.
We visited this particular mall because the Japanese Takashimaya 7 floors shop was located in this brand new stunning river building.
Visit the ground floor and basement for spectacular Thai design ideas, enjoy the great taste of decor: it's artistically done, showcasing textile, ceramic, artisans skills of Thailand.
Spend hours there, enjoy drinks and food too, an overall experience not to be missed.

Perhaps at the end of a fun day touring the city you need a fun activity or some good eats..... well
Don’t look any further than a trip to ICONSIAM! As the ferry pulls up to the main entrance (yes you take a taxi or a tuktuk to the pier and then a ICONSIAM ferry to the mall) you are immediately greeted with bright lights, fountains and brilliant sculptures!! My teens and I were slacked jawed as we took it all in. Be sure to visit the food courts, the Sook markets on the ground floor and the crazy cool new Apple store. It’s like an adult Disneyland and Las Vegas had a baby!!

We stopped by to check it out on a very warm day. We ended up spending 6 hours there. My recommendation are the 1st, the 5th and 6th. The 1st floor has a big Thai street-food market that imitates a floating market and village. It's so much fun, and the price is not bad, considering it's in a high-end mall) . The 5th floor has IconCraft, which sell beautiful Crafts (and packaged food), some from a non-profit orgs. (A shout out to Potjana for all the info!) . and the 6th floor has a waterfall from the ceiling, surrounded by a garden and restaurants with all kinds of food you can imagine!.

We are not the family that would ever visit a shopping mall while on holiday but for IconSiam we made the exception. We’d floated past it many times on the ferry and agreed it would be worth the trip just for the magnificent fountains and lighting alone.
We were not disappointed. The place is so very beautiful. We looked around the high end shops including Gucci and Tiffany’s, enjoyed excellent coffee and browsed the World Press Photography exhibition on the 8th floor.
The views are amazing out the magnificent windows. Bangkok and the river are laid out before you and as the sun sets you have front row seats.
Definitely worth a visit even if you don’t like shopping. Just watch the ferry times as they don’t run late.

We enjoy visiting Iconsiam mall which is only about 1 year old now. It is large and opulent experience featuring many of the brand name stores you would expect plus an eclectic and endemic food stand experience in the ground floor which adds to the unique experience. It is colorful, impressive, and just fun to walk and look around at the spender of this place. The only thing I don't like is how inaccessible this place is.. you can only take a boat and you must wait for a long time sometimes in order to take a boat to or from this place. But in some ways this simply adds to the charm and uniqueness of this place. We love spending time here on the weekends.
