Irish singer Catherine Harding is considering an ‘Irish castle’ wedding to her Arsenal footballer fiancee, Jorginho.
The 31-year-old sportsman, popped the question to the Tipperary native, 32, in what was a grand affair back in December.
The happy couple were surrounded by roses and candles, while being serenaded by a violinist as Jorginho got down on one knee.
The couple were first linked to one another back in 2020, when The Sun reported that they were expecting their first child.
Speaking to the Irish Sun about her impending nuptials, she said; ‘We were actually considering getting married in Ireland. We were considering it because he really wanted to get married in a castle.’
‘He really wanted a traditional fairytale wedding with a castle but when we were looking, we weren’t sure, just because we felt like it might be a little bit cold.’
‘I don’t know, we weren’t sure, we haven’t decided, it’s still an option.’
‘They had this idea that they really wanted to live in the countryside and have more freedom because they felt London was too dangerous and scary.’
‘They moved to Tipperary where my nan and grandad were living,’ she added.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Catherine admitted: ‘I do feel like I am married to the game.’
‘It changes a lot of things… your whole life revolves around the schedule of your partner but to another level because it’s not a normal schedule where you can plan. Everything has to be planned around what’s going on with them.”You can’t plan anything in advance unless it is in June. I am planning my wedding for next summer because J could possibly be in the Euros this year again so it will be next year,’ she added.
