Notre Dame High School Reviews

The school has been going downhill as of recently, due to a change in leadership. There are definitely a lot of people there who really care, but they either have little to now say in things or are fired for "Budget cuts" meanwhile they dumb money into the stupidest stuff
Some Students can be annoying/rude, but its highschool so expected, while others are really nice/smart
The sports department seems to be shrinking, with the football team being cut recently, but a lot of money is still put into sports
In my opinion, the FIRST FRC team 3799 Electric Fire is the best thing Notre Dame has to offer. I highly recommend looking into a FIRST team at any other high school you are looking into if you are eve a little bit interested in mechanical/electrical engineering, computer science, coding, CAD, or even stuff like Advertisement, social media, photography/videography, ext.

Unfortunately, Notre Dame has continued to decline over the years. There has been a lot of teaching staff turnover which has created instability. The availability of advanced classes has continued to dwindle and the once revered Athletics programs have become more and more limited. The tuition is 9-10K/year and parents are nickel and dimed to pay for so much more. With the ever decreasing student body, expect kids to become more cloistered and the tuition to continue to rise.
Terrible experience. In my experience, they were not welcoming, teachers were not communicative and responsive to emails, they did not have effective resolutions to bullying & were not open to parent suggestions/ feedback. Public schools have shown us they have greater resources & are more open to communication with parents & parent feedback. Mixing faith in with a school system can be tricky -- our child went into this faith-based school with faith in God. After attending this school their faith was lost. This school celebrates students for athletics yet, unfortunately, some of these children have been complained about for being bullies. It is very disheartening to a child to have the person that bullied them be celebrated by the school. This does a bit of a number on someone's faith in God when the school represents God. Thankfully, our child has been able to restore their faith since leaving this school and has found a much healthier environment in the public schools.
