It was originally built in I755 by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono in the spirit of unity of the people.
The covering photo is basically what you will see if you come to visit it. It’s not really approachable as it’s located in the middle of a busy roundabout. Locals seem to appreciate it anyway as there are a number of people who stop by here at night to get photos in front of the monument.

Over the weekend, there is a temporary market the opens between 5-8.30am local time. And if you do subh prayer in the mosque, you'll get 10K IDR voucher that can be used in there.
I like to visit becuase there is an activity "Syuruq berkisah" for kids. It's basically the religious story for kids.
