Demi Lovato is engaged!
The “Cool for the Summer” singer is tying the knot with new fiancé Jordan “Jutes” Lutes after a little over a year of dating. The couple each took to Instagram to share the news in two photos. In the first, Lovato and Lutes look so in love, smiling and gazing into each other’s eyes in a room romantically strewn with red rose petals and lined with tea candles.
For the second, they gave the people what they wanted—getting up close and personal with Lovato’s gorgeous, sparkling engagement ring. Her beautiful band features a massive pear-shaped diamond and was created by Material Good, a New York City-based luxury jewelry boutique, according to People.

Lutes had a few tear-jerking words of his own, captioning his post, “yesterday i asked my best friend to marry me and she said yes. i can’t imagine my life without you and thank god now i’ll never have to. feeling like the luckiest man alive right now. i’m so in love with you @ddlovato 🖤🥹 📷: @angelokritikos @shutterstock”
The two coordinated in monochromatic black outfits for the announcement, with Lovato looking effortlessly cool in a shiny black leather trench, matching pants, and chunky platform boots. Lutes looked suave in a shiny black blazer over a smart button-down shirt, loose-fitting trousers that featured a silver chain detail, and lace-up combat boots by Dr. Martens.
Lovato and Lutes are said to have celebrated their intimate proposal with dinner at Los Angeles restaurant Craig’s with their families, according to People.
The love birds first met in January 2022 when they co-wrote Lovato’s song “Substance” and went public with their relationship in August of the same year.
