Tues May 7, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Nick and Victoria thank Jack, Cole asks Victor for the truth about Jordan’s demise, and Billy tries to support Chelsea.
Monday’s recap: Diane was furious about the risks Jack took for another woman, and Victor pushed Jordan to drink until she croaked.

Victor stops by the tack house to see Claire. Cole is with her her.
When she claims she’s doing well, her grandfather asks how she really feels.
He sits down and tells her the family will help with anything she needs.
She admits it hasn’t been easy and had a nightmare about being trapped in the storage locker.
Cole is so sorry his aunt hurt her again and that he failed to keep her safe.
She says he didn’t fail. Her aunt is just a monster and she doesn’t get to keep ruining her life.
When she says she will be oaky, they assure her they will see to it.
Victor promises her aunt will never come back.
He asks to speak to Cole privately. Claire has to go and see her mom anyway and hugs them before taking off.
Cole wonders if he’s in for a warning. Victor asks about his relationship with Victoria.
Cole admits they have gotten closer. Victor likes that he is protecting of his daughter and Claire.
Cole loves them both very much and is willing to stick around as long as they’ll have him.
He asks if there something they don’t know about Jordan’s demise.
Victor says that the woman is gone and he needs to stop worrying.
Pacing in her cell, Jordan calls for Victor. She guesses he has cameras and starts giggling, pretending she’s on reality TV.
She stares at the bottle of booze and declares that she’s too strong to drink herself to death.
If he wants her to drink, he could at least join her. She won’t go down alone.
She starts feelings spiders crawling all over her body and hides under the blanket.
Calming down, she stares at the booze and slowly walks over, telling herself it will just be one swig.
She takes one.
As she keeps drinking, she beats the invisible spiders off.
Nick bumps into Jack at Crystal Lights and talks about Nikki going off to rehab. Jack has faith she can do it.
Nick fills him in on Victor telling him all about what happened and how far he went to save her.
Jack says he would have done anything to get through to her. It was a necessity to save a friend.
Maybe he went too far but it succeeded.
Nick won’t judge him but asks if he’s okay.
Jack assures him it was just a one time thing and that’s a relief for Nick to hear. He thanks him for what he did.
Jack guesses Victor isn’t grateful and wishes he understood what he did.
He assumes that Victor likely hates him more than ever.
Nick urged his dad to thank him for the lengths he went to but that didn’t go over well.
The Abbott will take the blame for Nikki’s sake. The ceasefire with the Mustache was pleasant but never likely to last.
He knows how much Victor can hold a grudge.
Nick assures him that he will have his back and knows he would risk his father’s wrath again to help Nikki.
Victoria joins them, hugs Jack, and thanks him for being there for her mother.
Claire arrives and Jack says it’s great to see her safe and sound.
She hopes she and Harrison can get back to their good memories. Jack wishes Summer and Kyle could find a nanny like her.
Victoria suggests her daughter throw her hat in the ring.
That startles Claire but her mom thinks it would be a great fit. Claire would love to look after the “munchkin” but doubts Summer would agree.
They’ve all noticed Summer’s hostility to her and Jack offers to have a word with her before exiting.

At Society, Chelsea shows Billy the daily emails she gets from Connor’s doctor. She lives for these and just wants him to be okay.
As he sits with her, she tells him she’s so anxious she can barely breathe.
Not only does she doubt all she does, she has to keep Adam in line and that’s not easy.
Billy says that Adam will have to take care of himself. He reminds her that she is the strongest person he knows.
She tells him he’s always boosting her. It’s not his job to keep her on track.
He loves her and wants to support her with whatever she need. They kiss.
She tells him the doctors think her son might be ready for a visit but she’s worried about how it will go.
He thinks she should trust the doctors. This could be part of the healing process for all of them.
At Adam’s, he tells Sally about his video call with Connor and how desperate it was.
It’s a steep learning curve but his son is setting his boundaries and doing the work.
She thinks that’s amazing.
He admits that he’s feeling like an outsider in all this but his son feels the doctors “get him.”
Adam feels like his son is moving on without him. He feels like he is being selfish.
She tells him it’s okay to admit he’s overwhelmed and scared. She urges him to let himself off the hook for a minute.
He doesn’t know what he would do without her.
Sally urges him not to hide from her or push her away. She wants to be there for him so he can be there for his son.
After they smash it on the couch, they relax and he tells her he’s sorry for any lost time they had because he’s an idiot.
She says they had to grow and be apart so they could know they should be together.
They are a much stronger team now and they will get through this. He knows he can’t be kneejerk about things.
The doctors think his son might be ready for a weekend visit. He’s all for it but suspects Chelsea is scared.
He worries that she is hiding her feelings and could slide again. Spectra tells him they are stronger than he thinks and they have to have faith in themselves.
Once they get dressed, Billy and Chelsea show up and she announces she’s made a decision.
She wants to visit their son and thinks they should go together.
Adam agrees and assures her they can hold it together for their son.
Miss Abbott, Ashley’s alter, meets with Alan at the GCAC. She makes it clear to him that she’s done playing games and this is all business, no pleasure.
He notices that she seems less comfortable than before.
She apologizes for overstepping and puts it down to all the champagne.
Alan asks if she will indulge him and show him the sights.
She reminds him he’s there less as a friend than a psychologist.
She doesn’t like it and she wants it to stop.
He thought she wanted help and was open to receiving it from him like in Paris.
Now she is being confrontational.
Forking a grape, she says her siblings have influenced his perspective.
She admits there have been issues but she can handle them and is fine.
Reminding her that they are friends, he admits that he’s not sure that she’s fine.
As she crumples up a muffin, she says her siblings have made him see things that aren’t there.
He senses that she hasn’t been herself. She’s had lapses in memory and changes in personality.
Now she’s acting like she’s threatened.
She tells him she doesn’t feel like playing today and she regrets flirting.
She makes it clear she doesn’t need him there.
Alan feels like their wires have been crossed but she bids him safe travels and abruptly walks off.
Jack gets home with coffee for Diane.
She just put Harrison to sleep.
They talk about how Jack is feeling.
He knows she’s upset.
She’s still furious he spent all night with Nikki and took pills.
He wonders how he can lessen this anger.
Miss Abbott swans in and taunts them for tip-toeing around her.
She told Alan to jet off.
She knows they brought him there to covertly psychoanalyze her and it failed.
Jack wants him to stay longer.
She’s not well and the family is determined to make sure she gets the help she needs, no matter what it takes.
