Just an FYI for everyone out there in the blogosphere and forum land. I have come across some less than truthful accounts of why I left the band Trapt in the last few months and just need to set the record straight.
I left on my own accord, of my own will, free and clear of anyone else's say so.
Chris did not fire me, replace me, or somehow make a personel change on his say so. He couldn't fire me if he wanted to.
This had nothing to do with anything creative in regards to Trapt, and if it did, why was Chris hiring me to do the drums on what are going to be tracks on the upcoming album due out sometime this year. He certainly didn't have a problem paying me for my creativity in a city with more musicians at it's disposal than anywhere else in the world, Los Angeles....
After reading comments different people have posted online about what Chris told them at a show or someone told them about what Chris said, enough is enough. I am here to STOP THE LIE.
I appreciate the guys and the time we spent together over the last ten years. I wish them well. I was not expecting to be undermined in regards to my musicianship based on a personal decision to move forward in my life. This mis information is unfortunate, untrue, and needs to be addressed straight from the source..... me!
Feel free to repost this anywhere you see fit if truth is not the prevailing outcome.
