I would say that glenbard north as a school is really good. I felt like I could always get help when I need it. All of the staff there is really nice. Overall I’ve had a good time there and glad to call myself a panther!
Glenbard North is a school filled with diversity and inclusion programs. Glenbard North prioritizes students and academics to allow students to receive opportunities many other schools do not have. They are very big on safety which no doubt in my mind worries me when walking into the building. This school has many event for students to socialize and become apart of something they enjoy due to the variety of clubs and sports.
glenbard north has been a great school, it's diverse, the people are welcoming and understanding, and everyone finds their own community. they push you to do the best academically and as an honors/ap student, the resources they provide and the teachers really do prepare for you for rigorous work. some staff are a miss with their teaching though, which is expected.
our sports teams are inconsistent, some years we're good, and some years we're not, especially in football. we have pretty above-average teams in other sports and attendance/support of the games that are not football is lacking a bit.
our facilities are not the nicest, but we have updated tech and they are renovating underperforming areas, the no windows in 90 percent of the classroom aren't the best, but some teachers try to make their classroom a welcoming environment.
overall, gbn is your typical suburban high school w/ a nice touch of diversity of open-minded students and teachers :)
