For the 2022 midterm elections, 18-year-old Natalie Biden is joining first-time voters around the country and casting her ballot. She and her grandfather President Joe Biden, voted early in Wilmington, Delaware.

In light of the milestone moment, here's everything you need to know about Biden's granddaughter, Natalie Biden:

Natalie was born in 2004.

She's the eldest child of the late Beau Biden and his widow, Hallie Biden. Her father passed away in 2015, when she was just 11 years old.

She's close with her cousins and grandparents, though she's rarely in the public eye. But in 2016 she stepped into the spotlight while traveling with her grandmother Jill to Paris, and with both grandparents to New Zealand. In fall 2022, as a high school senior, President Biden took her on a college visit to the University of Pennsylvania.

She has joined her grandfather on the campaign trail.

As a 4-year-old, Natalie joined her grandparents during Biden's campaign for vice president in 2008. She was also part of his campaign for president in 2020.

Natalie is Catholic.

At age 16, in fall 2020, she had her confirmation Mass at Brandywine Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington, Delaware. Brandywine is where her father is buried, and she has been photographed paying respects at his grave with her grandparents and younger brother Hunter.

She's private on Instagram.

Unlike some of her cousins, she has no public social media accounts.
