Cassie is a character in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach: RUIN, serving as the main protagonist in Gregory's place. She later makes a short appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2.

Appearance[]

Cassie is a young girl with freckles, amber eyes, and short brown hair tied in pigtails. She's wearing a red button-up sweater with white flowers near the bottom, blue and white shorts, and black leggings. Her shoes are a pair of Roxy-themed light-up sneakers, with red and purple lights on the sides, and she wears a pair of white socks with them. On her left wrist is a bracelet made of stars and spheres, while on the right is just a plain purple bracelet. Her nails are painted green.

Personality[]

Initially, she's portrayed as being slightly impatient, annoyed at Gregory asking to meet him at the Pizzaplex and not showing up. Once Gregory tells her what happened, however, her attitude quickly shifts, showing her bravery and also a bit of curiosity[1], as she risks entering the abandoned Pizzaplex to find and save him. She remains observant of her surroundings, often questioning anything out of the ordinary that happens.

Cassie is a huge fan of Roxanne Wolf, having a collection of merchandise of her, and having previously held a birthday party at the Pizzaplex involving Roxy (although none of her friends came). According to Roxy, she enjoys carrot cake.

She is shown to have a fear of eyeballs, and according to unused voice lines, was also intended to express a fear of heights.

History[]

Cassie, who was born on the 11th of an unspecified month, is known to live with her father (It is currently unclear if her father is single or not). Cassie is a "Faz-Fanatic", and has history with Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, even having a birthday party at the establishment prior to the events of Ruin. She spends time with Roxanne Wolf, even getting makeup done in the salon. However, her friends never show up to the party, leaving Cassie in tears. It is here where she meets Gregory[2], who offers some comfort.

Later on, Cassie receives a message from who she assumes to be Gregory, asking her to come to the ruins of the Mega Pizzaplex, claiming that he is trapped and needs her help to escape. Cassie obliges, returning to the building. It is here where the events of Ruin occur.

“ No way. I walk through a big screen, and now I'm in Superstar Daycare. NO way this is real. That screen was there before I looked at the camera. I swear. ”
“ I'm in Daycare. Is there a way out of here? ”
“ You want me to reboot you? With this? ”
“ Hey! There's another one of those signals. If it's anything like Monty Golf, it must be whatever's locking the theater. ”
“ I bet the doors are open now. ”
“ Aaah! I'm stuck! help! ”
“ This vent is creaky. I really hope it doesn't faaaall!! ”
“ Aaagh! ”
“ There's no more track! ”
“ I gotta get off this thing! ”
“ It's not stopping! ”
“ Gregory, I made it to catwalks. You said I could get to the Raceway from here? ”
“ Gregory, you there? ”
“ Of course not. So, Security Node and tracking controller, whatever that is. ”
“ It looks like that target's connected to the raised catwalk. ”
“ The floor is all slippery! ”
“ Ugh! I'm gonna puke. How did I get over here? ”
“ Wha- What happened to it? ”
“ How do you know? How are you doing any of this? ”
“ Chica? ”
“ Ow ow ow! ”
“ I got kicked out of that V.A.N.N.I. network! You said you got rid of that rabbit thing. What happened? ”
“ Hey! ”
“ What is that stuff? Weird battery acid? There's no way I'm getting near that. ”
“ That rabbit thing's back again! You said it was safe here. ”

“ Gregory, Run! Roxy's after you! Are you there? ”

Trivia[]

  • Cassie appears to be ambidextrous.
    • In the reveal teaser, Cassie holds a flashlight in her right hand. Ingame, she uses her right hand for handling the rest of her equipment
    • In the final game, however, she exclusively uses her left hand to hold the flashlight.
  • Similar to Gregory's association with Glamrock Freddy, Cassie appears to be associated with Roxanne Wolf
    • In the trailer, she's shown with a Roxy-themed Walkie-Talkie, which she uses to talk to Gregory.
    • She's also shown holding Roxy's hand, with little aggression shown by her.
    • They both use the colors red, green, and purple in their designs.
      • More specifically, red, green, and purple are all present on Cassie's left bracelet, with her shirt also being red.
    • In the original teaser for the Ruin DLC, she was associated with Glamrock Chica instead.
  • She has a similar name to Cassidy, a victim of the Missing Children's Incident.
    • Additionally, the name "Cassidy" was in the files for Princess Quest in earlier versions of Security Breach.
    • Any links between Cassie and the other two characters are currently unknown, however.
  • Cassie appears to be the narrator for the Security Breach RUIN DLC. Most of the collectible items have comments from her as their descriptions, and some pause screen text also appears to be from her perspective.
  • Roxanne Wolf mentions Cassie's birthday being on the 11th, and asks if she's booked a party. This seems to imply that the Ruin DLC takes place right before Cassie's birthday.
    • Additionally, based on Cassie's outfit, this has caused further speculation that her birthday, alongside the Ruin DLC itself, occurs in Fall, due to her wearing a long-sleeve shirt.
  • While the exact species of flower on her sweater is unclear, it is suspected to be Plumeria alba[3], a type of flower that is typically viewed as a sign of trust or love.
