- Francis Michael Durango Magalona (October 4, 1964 – March 6, 2009), also known as FrancisM, Master Rapper, The Mouth and The Man From Manila, was a Filipino rapper, entrepreneur, songwriter, producer, actor, director, and photographer. Born in Mandaluyong City, he was the first Filipino rapper in the Philippines to cross over into the mainstream. He was credited for having pioneered the merging of rap with Pinoy rock, becoming a significant influence to artists in that genre as well. He was also a television host on MTV Asia and Channel V Philippines and on noontime variety television show Eat Bulaga! Magalona died seven months after being diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia. Magalona was later awarded a posthumous Presidential Medal of Merit. The award's citation noted that it had been given "for his musical and artistic brilliance, his deep faith in the Filipino and his sense of national pride that continue to inspire us."

Valenciano has released 39 albums, and won the Awit Awards (Song Awards) for "Best Male Performer" twelve times. In 1998, he became UNICEF Philippines' first National Ambassador, a title he continues to hold. He is currently part of ABS-CBN contract artists, having been a mainstay of the Sunday noontime musical variety show ASAP and the noontime, weekday singing contest segment of It's Showtime. He is frequently tapped to sing theme songs for the network's soap operas and in-house film arm, Star Cinema. She was the co-founder and lead guitarist of the all-female rock band Fanny, which was active from 1970 to 1974. Millington was once described by Guitar Player magazine as the hottest female guitarist in the music industry. Millington is also "a godmother of women's music", and the co-founder and artistic director of the Institute for the Musical Arts (IMA) in Goshen, Massachusetts.

Nathan Peter H. Azarcon is an award-winning Filipino musician, nationalist, songwriter, and producer. He is currently the bassist and one of the founding members of Filipino rock band Rivermaya. He was also a member of Filipino rock bands Pinikpikan, Kapatid and a founding member of Bamboo and Hijo (where he is the lead vocalist). His complete body of work includes hits produced while he was a member of four different bands. Albums on which he has performed have been certified Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum. She gained recognition by winning both the 1984 Ang Bagong Kampeon and the 1989 Asia-Pacific Song Contest, representing the Philippines in the latter. Velasquez rose to fame with the release of "Kung Maibabalik Ko Lang" from her self-titled debut album in 1987. The album was generally well received and produced two more singles, "Urong Sulong" and "Isang Lahi", that established her as a commercially viable Filipino pop artist. Velasquez-Alcasid signed a recording contract with Polygram Records in 1994 and released Listen Without Prejudice, marking her debut as an up-and-coming artist in the Southeast and East Asian region. It became her best-selling record in the region to date and produced "In Love With You", which became her most successful single of the 1990s. Its accompanying music video was named Video of the Decade by MTV Asia. Velasquez parted with Polygram in 1997, citing a lack of creative control over her music and public image, and signed a record deal with VIVA Records the following year. She was given full conceptual and creative control as the executive producer of R2K (1999).
