In the initial version of the movie, Peter, under the influence of the Symbiote’s malevolent energy, confronts Harry in a fit of rage and accuses him of using MJ as a means to get to him.
Despite this, in the editor’s version, the altercation commences when Peter surprises Harry by appearing behind him while he is lying on a couch in his living room, similar to how Harry found Norman in the first film. Additionally, Peter displays a newfound confidence in the fight and almost provokes Harry into engaging in battle rather than acting out of his emotions.

During this period, Peter is particularly unkind and vicious due to the influence of the Symbiote. One of his most infamous moments is when he dances down the street in an attempt to impress passing women.
In the original version of the movie, there is a rather silly moment that portrays Peter as more of a creepy character rather than a true villain.
Despite the editor’s changes, Peter’s dance montage still carries a sinister undertone. This is due to its placement immediately after his fight with Harry, where he skillfully uses his web to deflect the pumpkin bomb that was thrown at him.
Despite scorching part of Harry’s face as it detonates, the editor’s cut quickly shifts to Peter dancing down the street without a care in the world.
Sandman Reunites with His Daughter

Despite being a criminal and having a role in Uncle Ben’s death, Marko is often considered the most tragic character in Spider-Man 3. He resorted to a life of crime in order to afford treatment for his young daughter, showing that his actions were driven by a desire to save his child.
Marko’s daughter is only seen once in the original version of the movie, when he escapes from prison. Despite Spider-Man eventually allowing him to escape, it remains uncertain whether the Sandman will ever be reunited with his daughter.

In Spider-Man 2 and 3, the Ditkovichs serve as Peter’s landlords, but in Spider-Man 3, both Ursula and her father play more significant roles.
In the initial version, Peter is shown utilizing the apartment’s communal phone to express remorse to MJ for his mistreatment of her, as well as apologizing to Mr. Ditkovich for his impoliteness.
However, in the version edited by the editor, it is actually Ursula who informs Peter that MJ has been trying to contact him by phone. Peter promptly apologizes to MJ in that moment.
