Rating 4.12 out of 5 49 reviews
As a student of Pewaukee High School I would say I have been able to observe the ups and downs. I would say the best part about Pewaukee is the academics and sports. Pewaukee takes its sports very seriously and sports are open to everyone. For academics Pewaukee offers a good variety of classes and it also partners up with a colleges nearby which creates more learning opportunities. The worst part about Pewaukee I would say is the level of diversity. Granted Pewaukee is filled with white people and doesn’t have a lot of people of color. The lack of diversity doesn’t make the school very comfortable for people of color due to the lack of people they can relate too.
The Pewaukee School District is a great school to go to. The teachers prepare me to be ready for college and they are extremely nice. Pewaukee makes me feel safe. The only problem there is at the school is that students make it a popularity contest but overall, everyone is so nice!
I find that the student's get along very well, and that Pewaukee succeeds in giving every student the best opportunities the district can offer. Sometimes the staff, whether that be teachers or administration, can be frustrating. Most teachers are wonderful and successfully create a learning environment that is both inclusive and efficient, but some really lack in this area, and it can be difficult for student voices to be heard on the matter. Pewaukee High school has great tools and equipment to get each student college ready and introduce them to different career fields, and I think it's a great high school to get you on your feet and open the door to each student's future.
