Mansion is a character-focused chapter about Zuzy and Zee in Piggy. It was released for a limited amount of time as a part of the Halloween events of 2022 and 2023. Its initial existence in the game lasted from October 23rd, 2022 to January 30th, 2023, but it made a return on October 4th, 2023. Duocara is the primary bot of this chapter. You can also unlock the Bela skin via quest.
The mansion is a fairly large brown building with two stories, front and back yards and a large basement area. The exterior walls use a cobblestone material and a light brown, while the interior uses brown wood as well as some colors like dull red or green for the walls. The walls are scattered with small square pictures. The front of the mansion is a small yard with long bushes and is surrounded by hedges. Inside, there is a large stairway which splits in two ways and two other halls of the mansion on ground level on the left and right. The backyard is similar to the front yard, but the mansion’s balconies and other features blend into it. The basement area is a square shaped series of dark brown halls with 4 rooms, being the wire room, portal canvas room with the bed, the red key room with the black safe and the black key room. Some other distinct areas include Eddy’s toy shop room, the kitchen room in the front left, the red toy room and the library at the front right.
Storyline[]
The chapter starts with Zuzy convincing Zee to sneak into old man Eddy's mansion with her in order to "see if the rumors are true", the rumors being that Eddy can turn children into toys. She also says that if Zee will not come with her, she will go alone. Once they get into the mansion, they come face to face with a machine called Duocara that tries to attack them.
After restoring power to the mansion, the two zebras escape, only to find Zizzy at the gate, who scolds them for leaving. Zuzy tries to frame Zee, saying that it was all her idea, but Zizzy doesn't believe her. All of a sudden, Eddy comes, causing Zuzy to freak out and beg him not to turn them into toys. As Eddy asks her what she is talking about, Zizzy apologizes to Eddy for letting the twins run loose into his mansion. Zuzy then apologizes as well but tries for the second time to frame Zee as the one who came up with the idea.
Eddy accepts the apology and tells the girls that he hopes they learned their lesson and that they won't break into people's homes without permission ever again. Then, the four part ways. Zizzy asks where Pony is, as he was supposed to be looking after them too, only to see him rise out of a bush, exclaiming that he found candy. Zizzy then says that she seems to have to watch over not just Zee and Zuzy, but Pony as well. She then says if anyone is up for some trick-or-treat, and they walk away, ignoring Pony who's still stuck in the bush and is asking for help.
It then cuts to a scene where Eddy is in the basement in a secret room, where he has a crystal, a map, and a journal, seemingly investigating The Insolence. He then calls a friend, Finley, for help, saying that something big might happen soon, and he isn't too happy about it.
"This crystal was given to me in my shop to study. Along with it came photos of these eyes in the south ruins. Perhaps it is unrelated to the eyes spotted all over but they share similar properties. Strange events occur while near either. Supernatural properties unlike I've ever seen before... Every time I look at these eyes, I can hear voices speak to me. They tell me to go to the south. I fear no good is to come from all of this..."
You need to walk into 6 pumpkin stacks around the map while holding an item, which will break them open, you will then need to collect the candles that spawned in their place.
Wait for Duocara's face to turn blue and quickly grab the black key so that Duocara doesn't chase you.
Open the door with the black lock in the basement and collect the crystal on the desk to receive the skin.
Trivia[]
This will likely be the last new canon chapter to be made in Piggy, as MiniToon stated on November 25th, 2022 that it would not be receiving any chapter-related updates after season 6.
This is the second chapter where you can play as two different characters (Zee and Zuzy), after Heist (Pony and Willow).
MiniToon stated he wanted to make the mechanics similar to Breakout, but he kept it 3rd person.
This is also the second chapter where the timer remains invisible to alive players until the last minute. Dead players and Piggy players can still see the timer.
Players can also see the timer if they join mid-round.
This is the first time where the purple key is used on doors instead of safes outside Build Mode.
It makes sense why Zizzy doesn't believe that Zee planned to go into the Mansion, because Zee cannot speak whereas Zuzy can.
This is true as at the beginning cutscene, Zee is standing at the bottom of the stack of boxes, staring up at Zuzy. After Zuzy climbs over, Zee shakes her head before reluctantly hopping over the wall too.
This is the second time that Elly is featured in a picture, the first being the Book 1 Credits.
This is the second character-focused chapter to not be a modified version of an already existing map, the first being Breakout.
Some details suggest that Mansion takes place before the infection. There seem to be no Infected around the mansion, and Pony and Zizzy are together in this chapter.
This is the second map to be added back into the game for the holiday it was made for, with the first being Winter Holiday.
There's a small chance that if you get spotted by Duocara, Ombra's activation noise will play which will then play Duocara's theme while the player's screen is flashing red, similar to Breakout.
All bots that spawn in on Swarm can use the paintings to teleport between the blue key room and the basement.
This map added a new bug that added collision for NPCs to doors and other NPC's in all Book 2 maps. The only exceptions to this was Mansion's main bot, Duocara, Pony in Docks, and Robby in Temple.
This was claimed to have been fixed on July 4th 2023, but wasn't and was actually fixed on April 15, 2024.
There are two red teddy bears in the room with all the red toys. If you step on them, they make a creaking sound, and their pupils turn red alerting the infected to where you are.
The Traitor doesn't have a flashlight in the chapter, making it extremely dark for the Traitor.
The Gun doesn't work like the other items in the chapter, most likely because it is exclusive to the Traitor gamemode.
It must be clicked on to be picked up, unlike the other items where you have to press E on your keyboard while near an item to pick it up.
A distorted sound of a child singing can rarely play in the room with red toys, this is an audio called CHILDREN NIGHTMARES 03 but sped up.
A music box is always heard playing in the room which has a portal in the basement, this is an audio called Musical Box (C) but slowed down.
A creaking sound can rarely be heard from a drawer in the library, this is an audio called Wood Door Creak Squeak 3 (SFX).
A sound of someone hammering a nail can be rarely heard in the room with the painting of Eddy, this is an audio called Hammer Nail Into Wood 22 (SFX).
Another sound can be rarely heard in the room with Eddy's painting, the sound of something getting screwed together, this is an audio called Power Drill 3 (SFX).
Crickets can be heard near the escape gate, this is an audio called Crickets Night 3 (SFX).
