Kathleen Joyce is a writer based out of Charlotte, NC. When she's not typing away, she can be found traveling, practicing Japanese, going to music shows, playing shoegazey grunge with her band, watching movies, and being a cat parent. She loves trying fun, thrilling and adventurous new things, and jumps at the chance to travel whenever she can, whether it's to a cool spot an hour away or a country halfway around the world!

• Kathleen is an avid writer as much as she is an avid traveler, and loves how writing for WanderWisdom combines these two passions. 

• She loves researching her destinations to seek out unique experiences and is all about sniffing out travel hacks for seeing the world on a budget. 

• Her fave travel locale of 2022 was New York City, where she couldn't get enough of the MoMA. 

• By far, though, her all-time favorite trip was to Japan, which she plans to revisit in 2023. She soon hopes to add Sweden, Norway, Ireland, and New Zealand to her passport's pages as well!
