Merger of Doxa Youth Soccer Club Into Olympiacos FC
We are pleased and excited to announce the merger of Doxa Youth Soccer Club into Olympiacos FC starting this Summer. Doxa will now be Olympiacos Soccer Club New York ("Olympiacos NY").
Olympiacos FC is the biggest professional soccer club in Greece. For the past month, the leadership of Doxa has held high level discussions with Olympiacos FC and we have just finalized our agreement to establish and operate Olympiacos NY.

One of the primary reasons for our decision to merge into Olympiacos is our desire to further elevate youth soccer in the New York region and to establish a truly comprehensive soccer program. The passion, commitment, and drive of the management team, coupled with the prominence and professionalism of the newly formed Olympiacos NY, will offer unparalleled training and development for the new generation of soccer athletes in accordance with the training curriculum and guidelines set by Olympiacos FC by providing opportunities for players to reach their full potential. Olympiacos NY will serve the entire Tri-State region, including New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Olympiacos NY will offer 3 different path for youth players of all ages, quality and interest:
A. Olympiacos Tots: For our younger players
B. Travel Path (U8 to U18): For players who wish to play multiple sports
C. Premier Path (U8 to U18): For more serious players who wish to focus on soccer year round
Olympiacos NY players will not simply wear a patch, use the name or claim some vague connection to Olympiacos FC. Players who play for Olympiacos NY will have a direct pathway to the Olympiacos FC resident academy in Greece, will have an opportunity to visit and train at the state of the art Olympiacos FC training grounds at Renti, and will also have the possibility to be selected for the resident academy in Greece. Olympiacos NY coaches and leadership will also be trained in the Olympiacos FC methodology.
UPCOMING TRYOUTS:
We will be holding tryouts for the Fall season under Olympiacos NY on May 26 and 27 from 5:30 to 7 pm at SUNY Maritime College. We will be sending more details shortly.
NEW FACILITY:
We are pleased to announce that we have entered into a long term exclusive relationship with SUNY Maritime College to use their facilities for training and games, as well as tournaments. We are very excited by this opportunity which will serve to attract players from not only the Bronx and Westchester areas but also from Queens given SUNY Maritime’s close proximity to the boroughs.
