100% Tomatometer 10 Reviews 95% Audience Score 1,000+ Ratings Hundreds of years in the future, the last surviving humans discover a way of sending consciousness back through time, directly into people in the 21st century -- "travelers," who assume the lives of seemingly random people. They're also secretly working as teams to perform missions in order to save humanity from a terrible future. Armed only with their knowledge of history and an archive of social media profiles, the travelers -- who include an FBI agent, a single mother and a college student -- discover that 21st-century relationships are as much of a challenge as their high-stakes missions. John Doyle Globe and Mail Gorgeously made and menacing in tone from the get-go, it's actually more speculative than sci-fi, a portrait of our time, seen through the eyes of people in the future. Apr 24, 2019 Full Review Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald The series' mix of seasoned sci-fi directors and relatively new writers gives it a suitable blend of freshness and assurance, and watching even a single episode gives some sense of just how much there is to be teased out. Intriguing stuff. Mar 29, 2018 Full Review Hanh Nguyen indieWire It contains just enough intrigue for continuous viewing, but is light enough to not over-tax one's spirits. Rated: B+ Feb 13, 2017 Full Review Jennifer Bisset CNET ...the real substance is in the moral dilemmas they face on a daily basis... Apr 6, 2023 Full Review Mark Oakley Den of Geek Wright should be applauded for presenting a genuinely fresh and interesting vision. The acting is excellent across the board, with particular nods to Abrahamson and Reilly Dolman (Philip). Oct 18, 2018 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba It's entertaining and engrossing, fast-moving, and addictive enough that you are willing to ignore some of the flaws in its logic, and there are a lot of flaws here, as is often the case with time travel shows. Sara K Very good Sci-Fi show. Lots of unexpected twists and very intriguing plot throughout. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review D L Alright- starts pretty slowly, hard to follow the story at times and can get confusing. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/17/24 Full Review Paul H remarkably engaging, feels like the thriller lovechild of stargate sg-1, each episode is largely independent of the others, am enjoying it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/16/23 Full Review Nae N I would recomment this to anyone who loves sci-fi! Ive seen it several times already and currently got my best friend hooker on it. It would be amazing if they could bring this back. Even though they ended it the way they did, it is the type of show that can be brought back as Program Two - a second try! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Michael Antony A Mikey's TV Review: TRAVELERS This Canadian Sci-Fi series currently on Netflix fullfills the very definition of a binge watch show! With a classic premise, familiar to genre fans (and not unlike the recent excellent cult series CONTINUUM, also from Canada), Brad Wright has Produced a true sleeper hit. Having worked previously on all 3 Stargate TV series the man knows instinctively how to make addictive, well acted, high concept shows. With a solid cast, each with engaging story arcs, (the limited 12 episode format really helps here) there isn't a dull moment to be found. Intelligent and adult, there is warmth and humour too among the intense drama, and characters you're hoping won't be quickly 'overwritten'. Standouts among the actors include McKenzie Porter, Eric McCormack (Will And Grace) and Enrico Colantoni (Flashpoint). Season 2's cliffhanger ending will leave you on the edge of your seat, breathlessly awaiting Season 3. Mikey's TV Rating: 5/5* Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/27/23 Full Review Alana W Honestly such great actors and actresses. I absolutely love the plot. I think it is very very well written and the production is amazing. I need 10 more seasons of this! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
