BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Later this month, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Symphony in the Summer at Birmingham’s Railroad Park.

Considered the troupe’s biggest weekend of the year, the three-day event will take place on May 24, 25 and 26. Each night is free to attend and features classical music, which kicks off at around 7:30 p.m.

With upwards of 5,000 guests expected each evening, the event will also have food trucks, face painting and more available on-site. Attendees are encouraged to arrive before the music starts.
