My 6 year old loves this book. The premise of the book is that little creatures called gigglers exist and their job it to look out for children. If they see an adult mistreating a child, then that adult will get the "giggler treatment." The first time we read this together, I did all the reading, and my son wouldn't let me put it down. We were both laughing out loud. The next night, he wanted to read it again, only this time my son read it to me. The phrase "the giggler treatment" has now become fairly common in our everyday conversation. I love that this book made reading fun for my son who has really struggled with learning to read. It was the very first time he picked up a book on his own and wanted to read it out loud.

The unusual theme of the book caught his imagination as no other book had, and he actually asked to read it, something the family thought would never happen!
