What exactly is going on here?

Other (Specify)...

Hi, i'm currently shooting my first roll of film. I bought UltraMax w/ 24 exposures. Problem is… i am on my 27th photo and it feels like there is no end. The lever is still going smoothly all the way. I'm confused ;/

Is the rewind crank spinning while advancing film?

Can you move the rewind crank freely, or does it feel like the film is holding it back?

It moves when i'm advancing now. However when i'm moving it a bit by myself it has a slight resistance. This resistance started at about the 15th picture. Hope this helps thank you

Then keep on shooting, you have a lucky roll with more film than advertised

Don't tear the film by cranking too hard though

Haha okay thank you
