Reviews
- Mine is actually a really great pressing - shocking for Bloodshot! Mine is dead perfect - flat, very quiet, centered properly.
I highly recommend! - Amazing album. Robert Christgau was absolutely right in his praise for it. The Bottle Rockets keep the St. Louis alt country scene alive. All you plagiarists take note.
- The Bottle Rockets are by far the best of the St. Louis area exponents that went along with Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, and Wilco. Why they never received the recognition they so deserved is beyond me. Not taking anything away from Tweedy, Farrar and Co, just a solid rock band writing songs with great hooks and down home subject matter. Buy anything you see by them.
