After treating fans to I Used to Know Her last August, R&B songstress H.E.R. doubles up on her initial offering and provides a sequel to her six-track project.
Today (Nov. 2), H.E.R. rattles off eight new songs all free of features for her fans to indulge on. Several standouts from her new EP includes the guitar-driven “Can’t Help Me” and the melancholic song “I’m Not OK.” “Feels like I’ve been here, stressing the things that I can’t see,” she chillingly coos on the latter.
This year has been a fruitful one for the angelic songbird, as she watched three records reach the Hot 100, including her Daniel Caesar-assisted song “Best Part.” In addition to that, she leads the way with seven nominations for this year’s Soul Train Awards, including song of the year for “Every Kind of Way.”
